D-Day Journal:

William Golding was affected by being part of D-Day by seeing all of his people on his side die. A lot of people was sea sick and most of them that ate and jumped in the water because they were sea sick almost drowned in the water. The Germans had great machine guns one of the greatest and fastest ones in the world. Many people died for their believe. If we didn't fight in D-Day we probably would have lost WW2.

Golding questioned the goodness of mankind because some people are just evil and are not good. They only want what's best for them and no one else. I think man is born with goodness and learns to be barbaric. People are born with goodness because God made us all equal and good at heart but people become evil and they teach other people that.
